WDH has been working for the maritime sector ever since its inception in 1993. We are privileged to provide services to companies in the offshore, dredging, shipbuilding and super yacht building sectors.

With our passion for hydraulics, WDH has worked extremely hard to build a good reputation in the industrial and maritime sectors. We deliver quality service and will continue to do so in the future. What does this mean? How do we do this for you? What does all this require?

Quick response time and professionalism

Our team knows how to respond and act swiftly. Our short lines of communication are very efficient and effective, and we have an aversion to departmental dividing lines within our company. Knowledge and expertise flow freely in order to keep a level of service that is second to none.

The best materials and components

Only the best materials and components are selected to ensure the longest-possible life-cycle of a cylinder. Hydraulic cylinders must be kept functioning in every conceivable situation.

Cylinders are used in situations where warmth, cold, salinity, moisture, wet and/or dirt are challenges . Such demanding environments must be accurately understood to select the right materials for each application and any circumstances. For example, selecting the correct piston rod coating and seals is crucial. Also, the paint system must be determined based on the environmental conditions. The one affects the other. Every step in the production, modification, and repair processes is extremely important.

Intricate knowledge, expertise and skills are crucial

The highest levels of quality, knowledge, expertise and craftsmanship are key for success in our industry. WDH continually invests in making further improvements on all of these factors. Quality goes beyond materials, environmental circumstances, and durability.

Making solid stress calculations for cylinders and assemblies and meeting the requirements of inspection authorities are just as crucial. We fully understand the current requirements of authorities such as Lloyd’s, Bureau Veritas, DNV, CCS, ABS and Rijkswaterstaat. Our products comply with the PED guideline wherever necessary.

Moreover, WDH is authorised to certifying material with a 3.1 or 3.2 certification.   Further information regarding the various certifications can be found on our “About Us” page.

Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)

Especially for dredging and off shore companies, Total cost of ownership (TCO) is an important factor. We choose the long term and we wish to contribute to a durable continuity and profit for your business, with the least amount of unexpected costs possible.

Hydraulic problems are meant to be solved

Our engineers have never encountered a problem that they could not fix, thanks to their years of experience, inventiveness and knowledge of CAD. This means that they always find an effective and durable solution for your hydraulic cylinder.

A strong collaboration

You can trust that agreements with us will be honoured and that promises will be kept. That everything will go as planned and agreed. In case something unexpected happens, we will promptly inform you about the issue and how it will be resolved. You can count on us!

Procurement officer |

“WDH has been one of our steady suppliers for years. What once started out as an order for one valve turned out to be a package of orders for a range of hydraulic valves for lifting, moving, clamping, or shifting (displacing) installations.

The paper work is also in WDH’s excellent care. A good, established work methodology is determined for the collaboration and for the eventual product. WDH understands this and has extremely good methods. They are so good, that we even send other suppliers to them and we tell them to “Take a look at how they handle their business.”

We notice that WDH puts sincere effort into our collaboration. Their employees are professionals who are open to new ideas and concepts. They work on the principle of best practices, they think with you, and they strive to keep with the developments within our organisation.

We operate in a worldwide market that is heavily dependent on economical fluctuations. Our market is growing at the moment and has a lot of perspective. WDH understands this perfectly and puts everything to work to grow along with us.”
